Visit from Kent & Sandy

We were lucky to have a great visit from Kent and Sandy Valentine, Steve's brother who gave his kidney to Steve, and his wife. We were glad they were able to get away for a few days and come down from Roy. Friday night we headed for the cabin where we had a steak dinner and enjoyed the quiet of nature. On Saturday Sandy and I went shopping and did a couple of errands while the guys watched some football. After the ball game we headed to Mesquite Nevada and had dinner and also gave a little money to the slot machines. :-) Steve and Kent also watched the BYU game in the casino, then after the rain and marble size hail storm we headed to back Washington. Sunday after church we drove to Arizona and visited our Ranch. Sandy has had problems with her back and pain in her legs so we didn't get to hike and enjoy things as much as she would have liked. On Monday we had breakfast with Steve's brother Kelly and his wife Barby before Kent and Sandy headed home. We pray for these two amazing people daily as they continue to morn the loss of their beautiful daughter Selamawit. May God bless them.
