We have been Atlanta Braves Fans since 1978, the year we were married. Our family spent many hours watching the TBS station and doing the tomahawk chop to cheer on our favorite baseball team.
This last weekend our family all gathered in Arizona to watch the Braves play the Diamond Backs. Our team won both games we watched. We had a lot of fun hanging out at the pool, playing with our grandsons and just having a great time with our terrific children.
Being in hot Phoenix it was funny that on Friday nights game, we actually had to move up higher, because we were too cold. The air conditioner was blowing right on us.
Jed and Katie had a family reunion with her family in Mesa on Saturday, it was great that they were able to spend a day with us among all the gatherings they were having with Katie's family. Mariann flew alone on Friday morning because Nathan had responsibilities and couldn't get away until Friday afternoon. We were glad he made it before the game started.
The "flag lady" was there again this year. I have never seen anyone twirl flags of all sizes and colors with more enthusiasm. She spun those flags during the entire three to four hours of the game.

It's always nice spending time with family....and especially nice when your favorite team ends up winning their games :)
